Blurb – Those Gen Con Blues!

On the eve of Gen Con 2014 I sit back and think of all the fun I have had at this convention in the past. I have had the privilege to make that journey 8 or so times and each and everytime I have had a blast and made a lot of friends and played a lot of games!

This year it was not meant to be and I will not lie, I am a bit bummed that I am not in Indy this weekend. I will live vicariously through those that are and go to my local gaming store and hang out with my fellow nerds that could not go as well.

We do have a virtual solution and you can head over to www.geeknative.com and learn about Anti Gen Con. It is pretty awesome idea allowing those of us stuck at home to connect to other gamers on Gen Con weekend. Also you can go to Twitter and see all the fun some us folks are having with #GenCant2014. My parting words are this…gather up some friends this weekend and play a bunch of games or support your local gaming store by gaming there.
